FOUNDATIONAL CONCEPTS IN CLINICAL REASONING

Duration: 8 weeks

Clinical reasoning is an active process — refined through practice, mentorship, and reflection.
This is a mentorship-based program designed to fit within a busy clinic schedule (approximately 3–5 hours per week). Clinicians engage in structured independent learning alongside built-in 1:1 mentorship and small-group discussion, creating space to slow down and organize clinical thinking.
The program walks participants step by step through the clinical reasoning process — from interpreting evidence to making confident decisions in real time — using real cases and clinical questions drawn directly from their own practice.
Mentors are Fellows of the Canadian Academy of Manual and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists (CAMPT). *Program mentorship satisfies the direct mentorship requirement for Advanced Manual Therapy Programs.

Courses with fewer participants not only learn more, they learn faster. They share more ideas, interact with one another, and collaborate more freely creating a fundamentally different learning environment. We limit enrollment to no more than 20 participants per course to ensure a focused approach.

Focused Courses

Location: Online
Focused courses offer clinicians the opportunity to explore targeted topics. Through self-paced learning modules, live group discussions, and the exploration of specific cases, skills, and strategies, participants learn to apply the Evolve Clinical Reasoning Framework to clinical practice. Courses include real-time mentorship sessions.
Focused courses are offered over a 4-week timeline, have a revolving set of topics, and are open to anyone who has completed Foundational Concepts of Clinical Reasoning.
